The Fishhawk Ranch CDD is in the process of a complete review of all 125 stormwater ponds and waterways by our District Engineer, BDi Engineering which started on October 1, 2023. Please be aware you may see them walking around ponds and accessing CDD easements near your homes during this time.

This review is to conduct inspections to re-certify our SWFWMD Environmental Resource Permits. During these inspections, they will conduct site visits to visually inspect the stormwater management system to make sure it meets permit requirements and is functioning properly. Following the completion of these inspections they will provide a list of any maintenance repairs required and proceed with collecting proposals to preform this work. It is estimated that this project with any potential repairs will be completed by the end of the First Quarter 2024.

The Fishhawk Ranch CDD is aware of issues with some of these ponds already that have been brought to their attention. Where treatment is an option, we are working with our aquatic services provider to address these concerns. However, some of these issues may require additional repairs. Where that is the case, it will take time to properly collect proposals and schedule the repairs after the inspections are completed. We will provide any updates we have as we work through this process.
